Job Overview:

Seeking a skilled Smart Hands Technician to support IMAC activities at data centers. This role involves maintaining data center infrastructure, performing tasks within SLA to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Racking and Staging: Assist with physical racking and staging of servers, switches, and hardware.
• Server Moves: Move servers and equipment to optimize data center layout.
• Cable Management: Secure cables and resolve loose cable issues to prevent downtime.
• Troubleshooting and Resolution: Support hardware and network troubleshooting to avoid disruptions.
• Compliance with SLA: Complete tasks within 2-hour SLA after ticket creation.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of activities and changes.
• Communication: Provide updates to clients and teams regarding ticket status and issues.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven background in data center operations or IT infrastructure support.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of DC infrastructure, IMAC processes, cable management, troubleshooting.
• Soft Skills: Problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, ability to work under pressure.
• Availability: Flexible hours, including weekends if needed.

Project Scope:

• Location: Data centers in the USA and Canada, involving physical hardware handling within SLA.
• SLA: Tasks to be completed within 2 hours of ticket acknowledgment.
