Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience using Perl and frameworks like Mojolicious.
• Experience with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of distributed datastores and NoSQL, like Cassandra.
• Proven experience building backend services and tools.
• Ability to lead small projects, offering architectural guidance.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enhance existing Perl codebase for network automation.
• Identify and reduce technical debt, improve performance.
• Maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements.
• Support growth of junior engineers through mentoring.
