Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment seeks a Senior Network Designer with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to drive automated network changes for Cisco data centres across Bristol, Birmingham and London. This 6‑month contract is hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office, translating designs into production automation and building robust CI/CD pipelines.

Role requires Cisco NX-OS, IaC, Python, Ansible, and GitOps experience, plus governance in regulated environments (FCA/PRA).

Qualifications

• Must have deep Cisco NX-OS and VXLAN BGP-EVPN experience.
• Hands-on IaC and automation experience.
• Proficient in Python for REST APIs and data modeling.
• Experience with YAML/JSON and Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
• CI/CD and testing using GitHub/GitLab, pyATS, Genie.
• Governance in regulated environments with detailed LLD documentation (FCA / PRA).

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated network changes and migrations.
• Champion GitOps with gates and automated rollbacks.
• Integrate automation across enterprise platforms including NDFC, NetBox, ServiceNow, and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
