Job summary

Burnley FC in the Community is seeking a Senior Netball Development Coach to support the Sports Development Manager in delivering the Netball Academy with Nelson & Colne College and Accrington and Rossendale College. You will also lead community netball provision across Burnley and surrounding areas.

You will plan and deliver high‑quality netball coaching, drive programmes such as Back 2 Netball and Walking Netball, and explore growth opportunities while ensuring sessions stay financially viable

Qualifications

Level 2 Netball or equivalent coaching qualification.
Evidence of CPD.
Safeguarding.
Emergency Aid.
Experience in delivering safe, structured and enjoyable netball sessions in schools, clubs and the local community.

Responsibilities

Plan, deliver and evaluate netball sessions to high standards and customer service.
Lead community netball programmes including Back 2 Netball, Walking Netball and Netball Development Centres.
Deliver coaching sessions and support classroom education workshops when required.
Explore growth opportunities for netball provision with the Sports Development Manager.
Provide exit routes for graduating Netball Academy players.
Coordinate staffing and delivery of netball sessions to be financially viable.
Promote netball projects with marketing and partnerships.
Undertake administration and monitor impact data (Salesforce).
Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote a safe working environment.
