About the Role

iO Associates is working with a digital product team to hire a Senior .NET/Umbraco Developer to support ongoing transformation work across a suite of internal platforms.

This fully remote role involves working within an embedded in-house team (not agency-side) and contributing to the full end-to-end delivery of modern, scalable solutions. You will have autonomy over how things are built, implemented, and delivered, with the opportunity to influence architecture and development decisions directly.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing the full project lifecycle, from scoping to delivery, and have experience leading offshore or remote delivery teams.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering production-grade Umbraco solutions (version 10+, ideally v13+)
• Strong backend skills with C# and .NET Core
• Experience working outside of a digital agency, preferably within an internal product team
• Knowledge of Umbraco Cloud, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments
• Familiarity with Azure services including App Services, Azure DevOps, and Azure SQL
• Ability to manage offshore teams or coordinate distributed delivery
• Excellent communication skills, capable of working cross-functionally with design, infrastructure, and product teams
• Experience owning technical projects from requirements gathering to release

Nice to Have

• Exposure to containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs and services
• Familiarity with DevOps culture or Agile/Scrum environments
