Job summary

Maxwell Bond is working with a successful Liverpool business to hire a Senior .NET Developer. You’ll build and improve scalable backend applications with C#, .NET Core and modern cloud tech, collaborating with engineers, architects, Product and QA teams.

You’ll join an engineering team that values clean architecture, microservices, DevOps and continuous improvement, with hybrid working from St Helens.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core.
• Experience with SQL Server, MongoDB and Redis.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ or MassTransit.
• Experience with Azure, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Terraform and Git.
• Experience working within an Agile / Scrum environment.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend applications using C#, .NET Core and cloud tech.
• Work with engineers, architects, Product and QA to deliver quality software.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and development best practices.
• Mentor and support other developers.
• Deliver in a hybrid-St Helens environment.
