Job summary

Pathfinder is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to shape and deliver the Azure platform for a London-based financial institution. You will join a near Bank station team in a hybrid setup, with 4 days remote, and own delivery from the platform’s early build through migration and ongoing evolution.

Using Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, containerisation and orchestration, you will build and migrate services, maintain availability, resilience and business continuity, and work within a regulated

Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on Azure platform and infrastructure experience.
• Experience building a platform from early stages.
• On-premises to Azure cloud migration experience.
• Terraform, Kubernetes, containerisation and orchestration.
• Experience keeping systems resilient and services running during platform change.
• Experience working in a regulated environment.
• Financial services experience is useful but not required.

A financial institution is building its Azure platform and moving from on premises infrastructure to cloud. The team needs a Senior Platform Engineer who has been involved at the beginning of a platform build or migration, taken ownership of delivery, and helped move the work forward.
