Job summary

Harvey Nash Plc is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to design, build and scale large, high-availability systems used by millions of customers. You will join a fast-paced tech team delivering on a cutting-edge proprietary platform and digital experiences.

The role requires strong C#/.NET, Web API/WCF, SQL/NoSQL and SOA expertise, with ownership of features from development to production. Collaboration in Agile/Kanban teams and contribution to CI/CD is essential.

Qualifications

Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET.
Experience with N-Tier Architecture, SOA and software design patterns.
Expertise in Web Services, Web API and WCF.
Strong SQL and NoSQL database experience.
Solid understanding of OOP principles and performance optimisation.
Confident using Git and working within Agile/Kanban environments.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Designing, developing and enhancing scalable .NET applications and services.
Building integrations between web front ends, Back End systems and third-party platforms.
Writing clean, reusable and testable code using modern development practices.
Taking ownership of features from development through to production support.
Collaborating within Agile teams alongside Developers, QA and Platform Engineers.
Contributing to CI/CD processes and continuous platform improvements.
