About

Howdens Joinery is looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join our Supply Chain Application Development Team.

What you will be doing

You will join a dynamic and collaborative team based in Howden, East Yorkshire, with remote work and regular visits to the site. The role involves leveraging your technical expertise to transform business requirements into enterprise-grade solutions, ensuring high system availability and support. As a senior team member, you will lead development projects, manage sprints and backlog, and mentor junior team members.

What we need from you

• Experience in C# .NET Full-Stack Development, from inception to delivery.
• Recent experience with C# .NET 8/9, SQL Server, and React.
• Experience using ORM technologies such as EF 8.
• Proficiency with source control tools like GIT and Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of unit testing frameworks and test coverage.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design patterns, code refactoring, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with Web services using RESTful APIs; exposure to GraphQL and cloud hosting is advantageous.
