Job summary

Searchability in Nottingham is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join a long-established digital solutions business. This fully on-site role offers a hands-on position building and supporting bespoke web platforms, e-commerce sites and integrations for UK clients.

You'll work with C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET and SQL Server in a mature team, maintaining legacy VB.NET components while delivering new features. Immediate interviews available with short-start notice for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial software development experience
• Strong C# and ASP.NET experience
• Commercial VB.NET experience or willingness to work on VB.NET codebases
• Solid SQL Server skills including T-SQL, stored procedures and performance tuning
• Experience building and supporting web applications and system integrations

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance web applications and bespoke platforms using C#, VB.NET and ASP.NET
• Design, write and optimise SQL Server databases, queries and stored procedures
• Build and support integrations between client websites and third-party business systems
• Support and extend a mature, established codebase, including legacy VB.NET components
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve production issues
• Work closely with colleagues and clients to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions

THE ROLE

We're recruiting a Senior .NET Developer for a long-established digital solutions business in Nottingham. This is a fully on-site role, working in a close-knit, experienced development team that builds and supports bespoke web platforms, e-commerce sites and business system integrations for UK clients.

You'll work across a mature, established codebase using C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET and SQL Server. You'll maintain and extend existing systems as well as delivering new features and integrations. This role suits a seasoned developer who enjoys hands-on, practical problem solving and working directly with the business.

Interviews can take place immediately. Immediate or short-notice starters are ideal.
