Software Engineer - C# / .Net - Up to £45K

About the job Software Engineer - C# / .Net - Up to £45K

Location - Nottingham, minimum 3 days a week office based

Salary - Up to £45k+ Excellent Benefits

C#.Net Software Engineer is required for our client based in Nottingham to join their development team as they continue to see an increase in demand for their products. The ideal candidate will be an experienced developer with the desire to continuously learn, embracing new technologies and techniques. As Software Engineer you will have exposure to a range of technologies to craft innovative robust solutions within the companies product offering.

Responsibilities

• Developing software across the full suite of our products and services
• Building, Operating and Maintaining 24x7 Cloud based solutions as part of an Engineering Team
• Taking part in all stages of the software development lifecycle as part of a collaborative team
• Working closely with product managers to refine requirements into deliverable user stories and tasks
• Investigating, designing, planning and estimating potential projects and features

Skills and Experience

It is essential that you have a proven track record in the below areas.

• Demonstrable experience of delivering high quality software in one or more modern languages
• Strong experience in C# .NET
• Creative problem-solving ability
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to prioritise and adhere to deadlines
• Microsoft Azure PaaS technology for application development
• Infrastructure as Code scripting using Terraform
• Experience of working in a devOps environment
• Agile practices such as pair-programming, test-driven development and user stories
