Nextens is seeking a Software Engineer to join Team Fiscal in Amsterdam. You will build and enhance the Dutch tax filing platform, developing APIs and front-end components to ensure a scalable, reliable solution.

Bring 2-5 years of experience with .NET Core and Azure, plus a degree in computer science or a related field. English fluency is required; Dutch reading helps. This hybrid role offers growth in a high-stakes domain.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on software development experience, ideally with .NET Core and Azure.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Interest in AI-assisted development tools as part of daily work.
• Fluent English; reading Dutch requirements is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance core modules for tax filing and compliance used by thousands.
• Develop back-end and front-end components (APIs, interfaces, integrations) for a scalable platform.
• Collaborate with domain experts and product owners to translate regulations into software.
• Ensure quality through testing, refactoring, and continuous improvement.
