Job summary

Worcestershire Royal Hospital is seeking a Senior Advanced Neonatal Practice Nurse to deliver autonomous assessment and management of premature and sick newborns within the neonatal pathway. You will provide clinical leadership on the middle-grade rota, supervise ANNPs and junior staff, and lead a designated service portfolio across the unit and community outreach.

Responsibilities include high-risk deliveries, complex care coordination, and discharge planning, with focus on audit, governance

Qualifications

• Must be registered with NMC as a nurse.
• Independent non-medical prescriber qualification is essential.
• Extensive ANNP experience on Tier 1 rota or equivalent.
• Expert knowledge of neonatal pathophysiology, diagnostics and evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Autonomous assessment, diagnosis and management of premature and sick newborns across the neonatal pathway.
• Senior clinical leadership on the middle-grade rota, coordinating the neonatal team.
• Lead discharge planning and coordinate complex care with community outreach.
