Job summary

LONG O DONNELL seeks a Senior Project Manager with extensive NEC contract experience to lead a major utility infrastructure project in Leeds. You will manage NEC 3/4 contracts, advise clients, and oversee the full project lifecycle from tendering through final accounts.

The role requires a degree in engineering, 3+ years PQS experience on utility projects, strong negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft 365. This is a hybrid role with two days on site.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of PQS experience on utility projects.
• Experience in power utilities with a main public provider preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NEC 3/4 contracts and cost management.
• Strong negotiation and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer NEC 3/4 or forms of contract for utility projects.
• Advise clients to protect their interests as the end client.
• Oversee full project life cycle from cost plans to tender, contract placement, CE notifications, and through to claims and final accounts.
