Job summary

Yard Sale Pizza is seeking a Senior Head Pizza Chef to lead a busy kitchen in London. You will mentor a hardworking team, report to the Kitchen Operations Manager and General Manager, and oversee all kitchen operations on-site.

You'll guarantee top-quality Neapolitan pizzas, control speed and service, train and engage staff, manage rotas within budget, and oversee stock and ordering. A passion for pizza and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a busy kitchen.
• Expertise in Neapolitan-style pizza dough and stone oven baking.
• Strong communication and organisation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of chefs in a busy kitchen.
• Run all areas of the kitchen on site under supervision.
• Ensure smooth kitchen operations and a positive team environment.
• Oversee pizza quality, speed of service and consistency.
• Train and develop staff with regular appraisals.
• Meet GP and portion targets and manage staff rotas within budget.
• Manage stock ordering and rotation.
