Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Woking, UK, is seeking a Senior Naval Architect to lead high-value engineering work in offshore projects. The role offers technical leadership, mentoring, and client engagement opportunities within a diverse environment. Candidates should have a Master's degree in Naval Architecture or Offshore Engineering and at least 8 years of experience in the field. Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Naval Architecture or offshore engineering, preferably in a consulting environment.
Fluent English (spoken and written).
Chartered status or working towards chartership preferred (RINA, IMechE or other professional bodies).
Responsibilities
Lead and perform hydrodynamic modelling and analysis of vessels and floating bodies.
Design and analyse floating and fixed offshore structures including floating wind turbines and marine systems.
Provide expert guidance in technology selection and costing for offshore systems.
Mentor and develop the next generation of Naval Architects.
Support business growth through client engagement and tender development.
