Job description

A Senior Naval Architect is required for an initial 12 month contract based out of Bristol. You will be supporting the Naval Design Partnership and the Future Air Dominance System.

Technically qualified and experienced Senior Naval Architect (NA) is required with the requisite skills and ability to conduct concept and feasibility studies into the NA aspects of vessel designs, including whole ship design studies across the CADMID cycle. The work will require utilisation of design knowledge and experience to undertake technically challenging naval platform design studies. The requirement will involve researching state of the art technology, information gathering, reviewing CAD models, assessing the associated platform performance, fit and integration issues, assessing technical feasibility and reporting results to work as part of a team developing illustrative designs for the Type 83.
