Job summary

Exmoor National Park Authority is seeking a Senior Natural Resources Officer to oversee projects and partnerships aimed at improving the health of Exmoor’s rivers, streams, soils, air and water resources.

You will coordinate the Healthy Natural Resources programme within the National Park Management Plan, guiding priorities and delivering practical projects to restore river habitats and improve water quality.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering practical natural resource projects such as river restoration or flood management.
• Experience in partnership development, project development, monitoring and reporting.
• Proven ability to manage projects and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project planning, procurement and contractor management.
• Contribute to bids and grant reports.
• Provide technical advice on environmental funding applications.
• Coordinate natural resources partnership meetings.
• Monitor project progress, budgets and environmental outcomes.
