Job summary

Fremantle UK in London seeks a Senior Music Copyright Coordinator to manage rights across a slate of TV productions. You will clear, license and track music usage, liaising with labels, publishers and societies, ensuring compliance with contracts and broadcasters.

You will build strong relationships with composers and producers, support rights audits, and help optimise rights workflows while advising on copyright risk and payout considerations.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in music copyright, music supervision support, rights management or music licensing within television, film, media or entertainment.
• Strong understanding of UK and international music copyright principles.
• Experience managing music clearances and licensing workflows for broadcast, streaming and other digital platforms including social platforms.
• Working knowledge of PRS for Music, PPL and cue sheet requirements.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key contact between production teams, music supervisors, composers and rights holders.
• Coordinate clearance and licensing of commercial and production music for TV and digital platforms.
• Track music rights clearances from request to delivery and maintain records.
• Negotiate licences, including blanket deals, and support budgeting and audits.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, broadcaster and distributor requirements.
• Assist with cue sheets for broadcasters and collection societies.
• Stay informed on music copyright law and industry standards.
