Job summary

Fremantle UK is seeking a Senior Music Copyright Coordinator to manage rights for a diverse slate of TV productions. You will clear, license, track and report music usage, ensuring compliance with contracts, legal, and broadcaster requirements across UK and international projects.

The role requires strong organisational skills, proactive problem-solving and collaboration with producers, editors and rights holders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in music copyright, music supervision support, rights management or music licensing within television, film, media or entertainment.
• Strong understanding of UK and international music copyright principles.
• Experience managing music clearances and licensing workflows for broadcast and digital platforms.
• Working knowledge of PRS for Music, PPL and cue sheet requirements.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clearance and licensing of commercial music for TV, production music and commissioned works.
• Review music usage requests and advise on rights requirements, restrictions and costs.
• Liaise with labels, publishers, libraries and collecting societies to secure licenses.
• Track clearances from request to delivery and maintain records.
• Negotiate licences and assist with more complex rights negotiations and blanket deals.
• Develop and maintain rights management processes and documentation.
• Assist with cue sheets submission to broadcasters and societies including PRS for Music and PPL.
• Stay informed of developments in music copyright law and licensing practices.
