StoneX Group Inc. in London seeks a Principal Murex Functional Engineer to drive design, configuration, and optimization of Murex solutions across asset classes, partnering with trading, risk, operations and finance.

You will mentor engineers, lead complex initiatives, and translate business needs into scalable Murex architectures while ensuring best practices and governance across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Murex Front Office, Risk, and functional architecture experience.
• Deep expertise across Murex configuration, solution design, and functional architecture.
• Strong financial markets knowledge across Commodities, FX, IR, and Derivatives.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior functional expert and strategic advisor for Front Office, Risk, and Accounting within Murex.
• Lead design, configuration, and implementation of new financial products across Commodities, FX, Interest Rates, and Equity Derivatives.
• Define and maintain best practices, standards, and governance for Murex configuration and functional development.
• Architect and enhance simulation views used for P&L, Risk, Stress Testing, and valuation reporting.
• Lead the development and optimization of pre-trade and post-trade MSL formulas and workflows.
• Mentor and guide engineers and analysts, fostering knowledge sharing.
