Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking a Senior Multi-Skilled Engineer for a prestigious facilities management contract spanning Holborn, Richmond and Ascot. The role focuses on delivering high-quality maintenance in premium residential environments, with emphasis on safe, compliant performance and excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate holds a Gas Safe and an F-Gas qualification, a Level 2 trade qualification, and proven multi-skilled FM maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Gas Safe registration or qualification in gas works.
• F-Gas qualification.
• Minimum Level 2 qualification in at least one relevant trade (HVAC, gas, plumbing, electrical or air conditioning).
• Strong multi-skilled maintenance experience in FM environments (commercial or residential).
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Clean DBS check.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional, proactive with ability to work independently across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across residential properties.
• Diagnose and resolve faults across building services systems.
• Maintain HVAC, gas systems, boilers, air conditioning and electrical services.
• Ensure works are safe, compliant and well-documented.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports.
• Communicate professionally with residents and clients.
• Identify potential issues and recommend remedial works.

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider, working across a prestigious high-end residential contract covering properties in Holborn, Richmond and Ascot.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong, customer-focused engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance services within premium residential environments.

Due to the nature of the contract, we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a professional approach and the ability to deliver a first-class service to residents and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of residential properties.
• Diagnose and resolve faults across multiple building services systems.
• Undertake maintenance and repairs involving HVAC, gas systems, boilers, air conditioning and electrical services.
• Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports and maintenance documentation.
• Communicate professionally with residents, clients and colleagues, maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
• Identify potential issues and recommend appropriate remedial works to maintain the reliability of building systems.

Essential Requirements
