Jobtailor seeks a physics-based simulation expert to advance Genesis-World and deliver production-ready capabilities for Genesis AI. You will drive end-to-end research from algorithm development to tested, documented code, and push performance with large timesteps and structure-aware solvers.

The role emphasizes robotics-inspired simulation, HPC proficiency on CPU/GPU, and validating results against real data, with opportunities to collaborate academically and contribute to open-source physics

Qualifications

• Strong background in physics-based simulation for robotics or related fields.
• Knowledge of constrained optimization and numerical integration of stiff systems.
• Track record of shipping simulation code used beyond its authors.
• Solid HPC programming on CPU and/or GPU.
• Practical understanding of numerical-method performance.
• Publications in simulation, graphics, or robotics are a bonus.
• Contributions to an open-source physics engine are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Push the physics of Genesis-World forward and ship production-ready capabilities.
• Apply research end-to-end from algorithm development to tested code.
• Improve simulation speed with bigger timesteps and efficient solvers.
• Expand physics coverage to water, deformation, and organ models.
• Validate implementations against analytical forms, other engines, and real data.
• Collaborate with academic partners on groundbreaking research.
