Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Consultant Radiologist specialising in MSK imaging to cover reporting and procedures across MRI, CT, ultrasound and plain films. The role includes image-guided injections and biopsies, with weekly service sessions and on-call duties.

You will train residents and fellows, participate in meetings, and contribute to research and service development within a large MSK service.

Qualifications

• FRCR or equivalent.
• 1st on GMC Specialist Register via CCT within 6 months or CESR or equivalent.
• Extensive MSK radiology experience incl. US/CT guided biopsies.

Responsibilities

• Report MSK plain film, MRI, CT and ultrasound independently.
• Perform image-guided injections under fluoroscopy, ultrasound and CT.
• Carry out bone and soft tissue biopsies.
• Undertake MR arthrography and spinal intervention.
• Deliver weekly general service session for inpatient and emergency reporting.
• Take part in the on-call consultant rota.
• Train radiology residents and MSK fellows.
• Lead MSK radiology meetings and quality improvement work.
