Job summary

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Musculoskeletal Radiology fellow to join a team of 8 MSK Radiology Consultants and 89 Consultant Radiologists across UHB. The 12-month post commencing September 2027 offers exposure to ultrasound, CT and MRI reporting, with opportunities for interventional work and research.

The fellow will collaborate with clinical specialties, participate in weekly teaching and MDT meetings, and contribute to service development

Qualifications

• Must be on or eligible for the Specialist Register for Clinical Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of MSK Radiology consultants and contribute to increasing workload and service expansion.
• Provide expert reporting of musculoskeletal CT and MRI, including interventional procedures as required.
• Participate in specialty meetings (Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Major Trauma, Bone infection, Sports Medicine) and weekly teaching.
• Engage in research and audit activities and support teaching of students and trainees.
