Job summary

Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join the MSK Physiotherapy Service on a 12-month fixed-term contract for maternity leave cover. The role focuses on delivering high-quality assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation for MSK patients within a multidisciplinary team.

You will work predominantly in direct clinical care while also contributing to service development, quality improvement, education and leadership.

Qualifications

• UK NHS experience preferred across MSK Outpatients
• Excellent communication skills with patients, carers and MDT
• Knowledge of evidence-based practice and guidelines in MSK care
• Ability to work in a high-volume outpatient setting and manage a busy caseload
• A passion for patient-centred care and service improvement

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality MSK assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation in Outpatients
• Act as specialist clinician in MSK, with autonomous practice within guidance
• Collaborate with MDT and senior clinicians to plan treatment and review progress
• Support service development and quality improvement initiatives as required
