Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the Winchester area. The role involves taking ownership of projects, managing cost and commercial aspects from inception to completion, and direct client interaction across varied sectors.

The position offers hybrid working, a salary of £50,000-£70,000 DOE, and a path to senior leadership within a growing consultancy.

Qualifications

• Minimum Quantity Surveying experience in a consultancy/PQS environment.
• MRICS qualification or APC progression.
• Strong pre- and post-contract experience.
• Excellent cost control and analytical skills.
• Good communication and client-facing/technical writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently within a small, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for commercial and cost management from inception to completion.
• Manage multiple projects across sectors and maintain client relationships.
• Prepare feasibility studies, cost estimates and cost plans.
• Manage procurement, tendering and provide recommendations to clients.
• Provide pre/post-contract cost management, valuations and final accounts.
• Advise on procurement routes, contracts and commercial considerations.
