Job summary

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Band 6 MRI Radiographer to support the expansion of MRI services across the county. The role offers you the chance to develop your practice within a supportive imaging department operating across three sites: Redditch, Kidderminster and Worcester.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of dedicated MRI experience.
• Previous experience working within an NHS setting.
• Competency across a broad range of MRI examinations.

Responsibilities

• Consistently produce high quality MRI imaging.
• Deliver excellent patient care, maintain high safety standards.
• Plan, prioritise and organise workload.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Adhere to infection control measures.
• Actively involved in departmental audit.
• Quality assurance, quality improvement.
• Demonstrate effective communication with all staff and departments.
• Assist site lead to develop protocols and techniques.
• Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
• Train others and supervise junior members of staff.
• Contribute to extended day and out of hours rotas.
• Vet referrals according to Scheme of Work in operation.
• Contribute to learning by reporting incidents as per trust policy.
• Participate in the modality CPD programme.
