We are looking for an MRI Radiographer to join our team at Clifton Park Hospital

This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic, motivated, a good team player, and committed to delivering high-quality imaging services with a strong focus on patient safety. The department is equipped with a Siemens Sola MRI scanner, operational since August 2022.

The Role

The successful candidate should have experience in orthopaedic, general, and MRI contrast imaging. A solid understanding of MRI policies and procedures is essential. Excellent organizational and communication skills are required to maintain effective working relationships and liaise with the multidisciplinary team (MDT).

Work schedule involves 3 x 12-hour days from Monday to Friday, with potential to extend to 7 days per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in providing high standards of patient care and treatment
  • Stay updated with scanning protocols to ensure high image quality
  • Efficiently carry out RIS/PACS processes
  • Maintain patient care and confidentiality standards in line with Ramsay policies
  • Report faults and departmental concerns promptly
  • Hold a diploma or degree in diagnostic radiography and a postgraduate certificate in MRI
  • Be HCPC registered
  • Have previous MRI experience
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Work effectively both in a team and independently when required
  • Demonstrate passion for delivering high-quality diagnostic services
  • Be organized and flexible
  • Show evidence of post-registration development and a desire to learn
