As a Senior MRI Radiographer at our hospital, you'll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), be registered with the HCPC, have a postgraduate qualification and high levels of technical knowledge. Ideally, you'll also have Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately.

As a Senior MRI Radiographer , you will:

  • See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy
  • Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload - in the department, on the ward and in theatre
  • Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities
  • Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures
  • Supervise and develop junior colleagues
  • Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion
