Please note that we will be interviewing throughout the duration of this advert. Therefore, early applications are encouraged as we may close the advert prior to the advertised date.

The ideal candidate will perform a wide variety of MRI examinations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience and further develop their career. The successful candidate will have a flexible, patient-focused attitude and be able to work flexibly within the team. Building an excellent rapport with patients and customers (both internal and external) and maintaining high standards of care and service are essential.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of MRI experience, with the organisational skills to work effectively with the team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT literacy are essential. The candidate should be accustomed to performing different types of MRI scans routinely.

Previous cannulation experience would be advantageous. IV Cannulation skills are essential for this role (training will be provided if required). Evidence of clinical competency, a flexible approach to work, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are important.

Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, including time management, are required. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve, are necessary. Attention to detail is critical. The role requires IT literacy and the ability to work under pressure both independently and within a team.

HCPC registration is mandatory.

You will work with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers, Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff. You will report to the Unit Manager and receive support from a Clinical Lead.
