Senior MRI Radiographer

Warwickshire Hospital | Radiology | Permanent | Part Time |

As a Senior Radiographer you will;

The hours of work will be three long 12 hour days each week, Monday - Saturday.

Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a very varied caseload.

Work with leading practitioners and experience new practices, equipment and facilities. We have a new GE MRI scanner due to be installed this year.

As a senior clinical team member, you will enjoy scoping to develop policies and procedures.

Supervise and develop more junior staff members.

Support the Radiology Manager with the day-to-day running of the department.

Deputise for the MRI Lead when required.

Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.

To succeed as a Senior MRI Radiographer you will have;

Current MRI expertise and experience.

High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail.

A caring nature - to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.

A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

A postgraduate qualification (or equivalent experience) in an area of specialization.

Post registration experience relevant to the role.

A passion and enthusiasm for your profession.

Excellent communication and team working abilities.

Experience working on GE scanners is desirable.
