Job summary

Senior MRI Diagnostic Radiographer - Band 7

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Band 7 MRI Radiographer to provide specialist clinical leadership and expertise within our MRI service.

The successful candidate will undertake complex MRI examinations while ensuring the highest standards of patient care, image quality and MRI safety. You will use your specialist knowledge to optimize imaging protocols and adapt examinations to meet individual clinical requirements.

You will provide leadership, supervision and education to radiographers, students and support staff, contributing to a positive learning environment and the continuing development of the MRI service.

A strong understanding of MRI safety, screening procedures, implants, contrast agents and complex patient management is essential. You will contribute to clinical governance, audit, protocol development, quality improvement and service development.

You will work collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide an efficient, safe and patient-centred MRI service.
