Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Slough is seeking an experienced MOT Technician for a main dealership. You will service, diagnose, and repair vehicles across models, delivering high standards in a busy workshop.

The role offers a basic salary up to £40,000 plus productivity bonus; 45-hour week, Mon-Fri with optional Saturdays on rota, ongoing manufacturer training and clear career progression within the dealership.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Comfortable performing diagnostics on various vehicles.
• Ability to support colleagues with technical advice.
• Proactive team player with a professional approach.
• Own tools suitable for vehicle repairs.
• MOT Tester qualification is desirable but not essential.
• F-GAS or EV training is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance checks.
• Conducting diagnostics to identify faults accurately.
• Performing vehicle road tests to verify repairs.
• Providing technical support and advice to colleagues.
• Ensuring all work adheres to manufacturer standards and safety regulations.
• Supporting the team with technical expertise and troubleshooting.
• Maintaining a high standard of technical accuracy and efficiency.
