Job summary

University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Mortuary Technician to supervise Mortuary Technicians across Worthing and other Trust mortuaries. Travel between sites will be required to ensure smooth operation and compliance with HTA regulations.

You will lead on on-call rotas, staff development, and the transfer of deceased patients, while maintaining dignity, traceability and adherence to HTA legislation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of advanced autopsy, forensic and infection procedures.
• Ability to communicate empathetically in sensitive situations.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage a team.
