Job summary

Waracle is seeking a Senior Mobile Security Developer (Inside IR35) for a 6-month initial contract. The role focuses on building secure mobile platforms, leading security architecture, and delivering risk-based recommendations across front-end and back-end mobile systems.

You will design security frameworks, perform mobile penetration testing, and collaborate with agile teams to drive security excellence and compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on mobile security knowledge for Android and iOS.
• Experience in mobile penetration testing and security assessments.
• Ability to create threat models and mitigation strategies.
• Knowledge of authentication, cryptography, and secure design principles.
• Experience with security tooling and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of a world-class security framework including mobile penetration testing and advisory engagements.
• Define secure technical approaches, identify risks, and develop threat models and mitigation strategies.
• Translate business objectives into technical security roadmaps and ensure alignment with client goals.
• Apply Agile practices to resolve impediments and drive security adoption across teams.
• Engage with clients to communicate findings, manage expectations and provide risk-based recommendations.
