Job summary

Klarna seeks an experienced offensive mobile security specialist to protect its iOS and Android apps. You will conduct pentests and red-team exercises, reverse-engineer binaries, and apply MASVS/MASTG guidance to drive concrete engineering fixes.

You will collaborate with software engineers to harden app security, test RASP protections, and document actionable remediation steps. This role requires hands-on testing across mobile platforms and a track record of security research or bug bounty work.

Qualifications

Hands-on offensive mobile security work across iOS/Android.
Experience with pentesting, red team, Bug bounty, or security research against mobile apps.
Familiarity with MASVS/MASTG; ability to translate findings into fixes.
Experience shipping production mobile code or related security tools.

Responsibilities

Run offensive security assessments on Klarna's iOS and Android apps.
Reverse-engineer app binaries to surface sandboxing, permission, and platform-security weaknesses.
Test Klarna's mobile apps against the MASVS and MASTG, driving concrete fixes with engineering teams.
Evaluate and stress-test app-hardening and RASP protections, collaborating with builders and maintainers.
Write up findings in a way engineers can act on immediately, and follow through until fixes are deployed.
