Job description

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Mobile MRI Radiographer to join our Clinical Team working in Belfast.

Whether you are an MRI radiographer, or a vet nurse with experience in MRI, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for skilled and passionate people and this is your chance to use your imaging skills in a truly unique setting, making a real difference in helping animals and the people who care for them.

About the Role

Location: Belfast, NI

Hours: Full time, part-time

Days: Monday-Friday (no on call), 9am-5pm, occasional flexibility may be required.

Salary: £42,000+ (Reduced pro rata for part time working)

What you\'ll be doing

You will operate our mobile MRI scanning units to deliver the highest standards of diagnostic imaging while demonstrating excellent communication, customer service and patient care. You will work closely with, and support vets with critical diagnostics that can help change the lives of pets. No two days will be the same as you use your radiography skills in a whole new way.

Previous experience working in the veterinary sector is not essential as full training is provided.

Applicant Criteria
  • Highly proficient in MRI with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Able to work conformably as an autonomous practitioner with support from veterinary specialists on site
  • Experience working independently
  • Demonstrate detailed knowledge of MRI safety protocols, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills, be personable and professional
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
