Job summary

Morgansgrocer is building the customer shopping app, the in-store fulfilment app for staff, and the driver app for deliveries. We’re looking for a mobile engineer to own and improve these cross‑platform apps for iOS, Android, and Huawei.

You will work with backend and design to ship smooth, real-time experiences, tackle offline mode, push, live tracking, payments, and performance, and own release cycles across stores. AI tools will be used to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping production mobile apps that real users depend on.
• Strong with React Native or Flutter (native iOS/Android a plus).
• Experience integrating REST/GraphQL APIs, payments, maps, and real-time features.
• A feel for mobile UX and an eye for detail.
• Self-directed, curious, and comfortable owning whole features.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cross-platform mobile apps for iOS, Android, and Huawei.
• Work closely with backend and design to ship smooth, real-time experiences.
• Handle offline behaviour, push, live tracking, payments, and performance.
• Own release cycles across the app stores and keep crash rates low.
• Use AI tools to accelerate development and prototyping.
