J.P. Morgan, a global financial services leader, seeks a Senior Lead Mobile Software Engineer to shape and deliver our native mobile platform across iOS and Android.

This architect-level, hands-on role defines technical direction, writes production code, and leads both iOS and Android teams. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in native mobile apps, Swift, Kotlin, and strong leadership in agile settings, with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering native mobile apps on iOS and Android.
• Proficiency in Swift with modern iOS architecture patterns.
• Proficiency in Kotlin with modern Android architecture patterns and Jetpack components.
• Experience as a senior technical lead, making system-level design decisions.
• Strong mobile fundamentals: performance, memory, concurrency, offline-first, networking, lifecycle, security.
• Strong engineering practices: clean code, code reviews, documentation, continuous improvement.
• Experience with REST/GraphQL API integration and backend collaboration.
• Proven track record improving test strategy, automation, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end mobile architecture for iOS and Android, with modularization and long-term scalability.
• Provide technical leadership across mobile teams, set standards and align patterns.
• Contribute to core platform components and unblock engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, Security, Risk, and QA to translate goals into solutions.
• Maintain high engineering standards: code quality, security, performance, accessibility, reliability.
• Improve mobile SDLC practices: planning, peer review, testing, release, operations.
• Lead mobile testing/quality strategy (unit/integration/UI) and drive stability.
• Own build/release, CI/CD pipelines, observability, incident response.
• Mentor engineers and foster strong engineering culture.
