Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Senior MLOps Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure that underpins its growing AI and machine learning platform. You will build scalable, production-grade systems and shape the technical direction of the business.

You will collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists and software engineers to deploy, monitor and scale AI workloads, implement IaC and drive automation while upholding governance and best practices across MLOps.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in MLOps, platform engineering or infrastructure engineering.
• Excellent Python software engineering skills with production systems.
• Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Dagster, Airflow, Prefect or similar.
• Production experience deploying, scaling and troubleshooting Kubernetes workloads.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi or equivalent tooling.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, observability and operational best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the infrastructure powering production AI and ML services.
• Design, build and maintain orchestration pipelines for model training, deployment and retraining.
• Deploy and manage ML workloads in Kubernetes-based environments.
• Develop monitoring, observability and platform reliability capabilities.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code and drive automation across the stack.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists and software engineers to deliver scalable solutions.
• Contribute to platform standards, governance and best practices across AI and MLOps.
• Support adoption of new technologies across the engineering function.
