Job summary

Proclinical Group is hiring a Senior MLOps & Data Engineer in Oxford. You will design scalable MLOps infrastructure, productionise ML workflows, and develop cloud-native data pipelines across AWS and GCP.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in MLOps or cloud/data platform engineering.
• Advanced Python development in production environments.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience building cloud-native platforms in AWS and/or GCP.
• Experience designing and supporting data pipelines in complex environments.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, observability and governance practices.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, testing and deployments.
• Able to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable MLOps infrastructure for model deployment, monitoring and lifecycle management.
• Productionise machine learning workflows using Python, containers and modern software practices.
• Develop cloud-native data pipelines across AWS and GCP for ingestion, transformation and storage.
• Create integrations between lab systems, platforms and cloud environments via APIs.
• Support collection and management of large-scale datasets from experiments and operations.
• Establish best practices for model versioning, experiment tracking and governance.
• Collaborate with teams to convert research code into reliable internal products.
• Contribute to AI-driven workflow orchestration and automation solutions.
• Improve platform reliability, security, scalability and cost efficiency.
