Depop Limited - Nova is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Scientist for the Trust Detection team. You will own the design, development and evolution of ML systems that detect policy-violating content, fraud, and abuse across the platform.

You will apply deep learning and large language models to improve user safety and platform integrity, working in ambiguous environments with production-ready systems and cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• Proven track record of deploying ML systems delivering impact in production.
• Experience with ML in trust, safety, fraud, or abuse detection preferred.
• Proficient Python; production-quality code and data pipelines.

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end ML solutions from problem framing to production deployment.
• Build scalable ML systems for detecting fraud, abuse, or policy violations in content.
• Lead LLM-based approaches: model selection, fine-tuning, evaluation and analysis.
• Define offline/online evaluation strategies to measure impact for product decisions.
• Collaborate with Trust, Policy and Product to shape detection strategies.
• Communicate approaches and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders.
