Job summary

Principle is seeking a Senior Research Engineer in Machine Learning & Generative AI to join a world-leading tech organisation on the frontier of AI research. You will be embedded in a cutting-edge AI research team, working on large language models, reinforcement learning, synthetic data, multi-agent systems and AI agents, while building robust infrastructure for research experiments.

Ideal candidates have 5-7 years of hands-on ML/AI experience, strong Python, and a track record of scaling models

Qualifications

• 5-7 years' relevant experience in ML/AI
• Strong Python programming skills
• Experience developing ML models at scale
• Experience writing production-quality software and running complex experiments with large AI models
• Strong scientific/research mindset to understand why approaches work
• Ability to work at pace in ambiguous research environment

Responsibilities

• Embed within cutting-edge AI research team to advance ML/AI research
• Develop and evaluate models at scale and build supporting experiments
• Contribute to production-grade software and research infrastructure
