Job summary

Aioi Nissay Dowa Europe Limited is hiring a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to drive technical and delivery leadership across ML projects in the R&D Lab. You will mentor engineers, shape best practices, and contribute hands-on on select projects while coordinating multiple engagements.

The role includes overseeing solution design, risks, and quality across teams, with engagement in pre-sales and broader ML initiatives.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in STEM or equivalent practical experience.
• Extensive years of ML engineering and software delivery expertise.
• Strong software engineering background with production ML systems.
• Experience leading ML engineers or technical contributors.

Responsibilities

• Line manage and develop ML engineers and contribute to hiring and onboarding.
• Hands-on contribution to complex delivery projects while leading multiple engagements.
• Establish and embed ML engineering best practices across the Lab.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across ML engineers, scientists and software engineers.
• Support pre-sales activity with technical scoping and solution shaping.
