Qualifications

• Senior ML practitioner with hands-on delivery experience.
• Strong foundation in math, stats, and scientific methods.
• Experience evaluating ML models with quantitative evidence and structured experiments.
• Excellent Python skills for building and iterating ML solutions.
• Experience working with real-world, imperfect data from operational systems.
• Strong software engineering practices: readable, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Experience integrating ML components into broader production systems.
• Understanding of data ethics, privacy, and responsible use of data.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to work independently and own outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end machine learning delivery from problem definition to evaluation and iteration.
• Apply rigorous mathematical and statistical reasoning to model outcomes.
• Design and run structured experiments to assess model behavior, performance and impact.
• Work with real, imperfect operational data rather than curated datasets.
• Collect, assess and transform data to support evaluation and improvement.
• Balance rigour with pragmatism to deliver robust, fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Integrate ML components into broader production systems with reliability.
• Communicate complex ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Engage in deep technical design and review discussions within a strong assurance culture.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners at the leading edge of AI.
