Job summary

Viridien is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to drive LLM/NLP model development from data ingestion to deployment. You will build robust data pipelines and orchestrate multi-model workflows, partnering with production teams to put AI solutions into production. You will also mentor junior engineers and shape technical direction.

The role offers hybrid work arrangements with 2 days at home, a strong bonus scheme, and a focus on cutting-edge AI systems for industrial applications.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++/R/Java/Python.
• Advanced understanding of LLM and VLM architectures, post-training methods (fine-tuning, RL).
• Experience in data and system engineering for large-scale model workflows.
• Proven experience with DL frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch).
• Experience using tools Cursor, Windsurf, Trae, Gemini CLI, Claude Code, or Codex.
• Experience deploying LLMs to industrial-scale real-user cases is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy LLM/NLP models for domain-specific tasks.
• Build data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, labeling, and versioning.
• Architect multi-model agentic workflows and orchestration for production use.
• Collaborate with Production and Software Engineers to ship AI solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
