Job summary

Bazaarvoice recruits a Senior ML/AI Engineer to craft scalable AI/ML solutions across its content and UGC data network. You will partner with engineers and data scientists to build end-to-end ML workflows on AWS, with emphasis on monitoring, deployment, and performance optimization.

The role emphasizes MLOps, cloud-native architectures, and delivering reliable production systems that boost ARR and reduce churn. A strong background in NLP/LLMs and streaming data is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with statically-typed or JVM languages; willingness to learn Scala is desirable.
• 5+ years of experience with Cloud Platforms & Services, ideally AWS.
• 3+ years of IaC experience (Terraform).
• 5+ years managing Kubernetes clusters and deployments.
• 5+ years of experience with ML orchestration tools (Flyte, Airflow, Kubeflow, Luigi, or Prefect).
• 5+ years of CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience with streaming and messaging tech (Kafka).
• Experience with ML monitoring and observability tools (Arize AI, Weights & Biases).
• Experience with NLP/LLMs in production or strong interest to learn.
• Proficient in Python for ML systems; strong scripting abilities.
• Ability to deploy and manage production APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust AI/ML pipelines for batch and streaming workloads.
• Develop monitoring and observability for ML systems.
• Lead DevOps practices, including CI/CD and IaC.
• Architect and deploy cloud-based solutions on AWS or similar.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to train and deploy models.
• Feature engineering and model optimization for performance.
• Oversee full AI/ML lifecycle from data prep to deployment.
• Refactor systems for reliability and efficiency.
• Drive MLOps best practices across teams.
