Job summary

Wayve is seeking a Senior/Staff ML Engineer to join the Driving Product team, building end-to-end driving behaviours from data collection to on-road validation. You will train and iterate on end-to-end driving models and ship them into cars on a fast timeline to impact high-priority commercial deliveries including Nissan production and Robotaxi.

You will join a small, high-ownership team at a point of rapid growth, where execution and real-world outcomes matter, with a hybrid working policy

Qualifications

• Proven experience training deep learning models with end-to-end ownership (data, training, evaluation).
• Experience taking ML models into production under real-world constraints and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop the AI driver model architecture and training algorithms for L2/L3/L4.
• Own parts of the training lifecycle: evaluation strategy, metrics, iteration planning.
• Mine and curate real-world and synthetic data to train driving behaviours and support training schemes.
• Run on-road and offline experiments and translate results into next steps for improvements.
