Job summary

BHRUT is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic midwife to join our team as a Band 7 Senior Midwife Manager for the Antenatal Clinic. If you are an NMC-registered midwife with an NMC PIN number and wish to make a difference to women and their families, we would like to hear from you. The post holder will further develop their leadership skills through professional and personal growth. Joining our team offers an opportunity to utilize your knowledge and experience to enhance our maternity services and support staff in delivering improved care.

Main duties of the job

  1. Manage midwifery and nursing staff and resources within the ward/department in collaboration with the Specialty Maternity Matron and Deputy Matron to deliver high-quality, cost-effective clinical care.
  2. Work closely with Lead Midwives to develop and promote midwifery and clinical practice, setting and monitoring performance standards, and collaborating with obstetric colleagues to address shortfalls. Please note, our Senior Midwifery Manager posts at BHRUT are rotational.
